News: Eco Sky: Low Density Living in A Prime Location

May 17, 2018

Buyer-centric developments are hard to find among new developments in the current age, but there are the unique few that are designed just to fulfil the requirements of home buyers.

Located on the major trunk road of Jalan Ipoh is Eco Sky, an integrated mixed development which is EcoWorld’s maiden outing in the Klang Valley. Eco Sky draws together all the most unique features of successful projects and compiled them into one development.

The effort directed into building Eco Sky has resulted in the development winning many awards, and scoring amongst the highest points in the esteemed Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS). This award goes to show the high quality of the development, which promises buyers a well-built home that will not face structural and assorted other problems in the coming years. These standards also earned Eco Sky recognition in the property sector is its LEEDS and green building index (GBI) certification.

Among the features that brought Eco Sky their recognition is the master plan and layout of buildings that create a wind tunnel, ensuring that the development enjoys constant breezes throughout the day and night. Additionally, the apartment blocks are oriented so that every unit does not face direct sunlight, making Eco Sky cool and comfortable to live in throughout the day.

Eco Sky the Development

Eco Sky encompasses 9.6 acres of land including a 33,000 sq ft private park. Instead of squeezing as many homes as possible on a prime piece of land which is the typical practice in property hotspots, Eco Sky comprises only 3 residential towers offering a total of 975 residential units, with an average of about 300 units to a tower. These homes will be served by 140 retail lots, which are part of the development’s commercial component. These retail lots have been snapped up by quality F&B brands such as Donutes, Chef Tam Cantonese Cuisine, De Veyron café, Hinata Café, and genuine Indian cuisine. Other retail outlets offer various services like a clinic, dentist, etc.

Drawing upon the considerable expertise of top Singaporean and Malaysian architects, the development is designed so that every home owner in Eco Sky will enjoy maximum privacy. As a result, every unit has detached walls from their neighbours. Eco Sky residents have a private entrance to their homes, which is separate from the entrance to the commercial component. At the same time, these residents have a private access to the retail centre via two resident-exclusive link bridges.

Security is a top priority at Eco Sky. With their’ access cards, residents only have access their own floor, the facilities floor and the link bridge. Residents’ cars are fitted with RFID stickers for seamless yet secure entry into the car park. The 10ft high perimeter fencing with CCTV cameras and motion detectors prevent breaches from the outside.

Eco Sky residents will also enjoy over 40 facilities spread over 2 floors which add up to 100,000 sq ft. They will have a jogging path that goes around the 3 blocks, while the gymnasium itself takes up 2 floors with gym machines comparable to professional gymnasiums. With free access to this gym, residents of Eco Sky will be able to save on gym membership.

The Business Lounge in Eco Sky is a proper co-working space, that houses computers, a photostat machine, and basic stationery. There is also WiFi connectivity for use of the residents.

Each residential tower has The Pavilion on level 23, which is an open-air “chill” area with cushioned seating where residents can read, work and the views. Perhaps the most intriguing facility in Eco Sky is The Peak on the rooftop, which offers sky lounges complete with gourmet kitchens which can be rented for private events. The rooftop will have 360 degree views of Kuala Lumpur including the Petronas Twin Towers and Suria KLCC.

As of the time of writing, EcoWorld is offering a special package for Eco Sky. Buyers will be able to choose one of 4 interior designer packages at prices starting from only RM48,000. The themes they can choose from are named Mocha, Midas, Orca and Chiffon. When completed with these designs, the units will be fully fitted and furnished, and move-in ready. All the buyer will need to do is walk in with their bags.

The best part about Eco Sky is that it is a newly completed development in 2018, which means buyers will get to see what they buy.

Connectivity will never be a problem at Eco Sky because it enjoys access to most of the major highways in the Klang Valley. The Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) is literally just outside Eco Sky, and down the road in the opposite direction is Jalan Kuching, as well as the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE). With these access roads, Bangsar, Mont Kiara and Damansara are reachable within 15 minutes, and the Kuala Lumpur city centre within 10 kilometres.

While there are concerns that the traffic in the area is heavy during peak hours, these worries are already being assuaged by the road that is being built behind Eco Sky, which will provide a direct route to Jalan Kuching.

For public transport users, the Taman Wahyu KTM station is only a short walk away via a covered walkway. And in 202, there will be an MRT station just a 350 metres away also accessible via a covered walkway, with direct connection to Putrajaya.

Because of Eco Sky’s central location, Grab users will find wait times minimal as there are many drivers in the area. Also because of the optimal location, Eco Sky residents will find themselves just a short drive away from the Selayang wet market, and food hubs on Jalan Ipoh and in Kepong. And just next door of Eco Sky is Tesco, which is connected to Eco Sky via a 2-acre park — making grocery shopping literally a walk in the park.

What Sets EcoWorld Apart

With all the new and upcoming developments in the city, every development has its own unique selling points but without doubt, EcoWorld has one of the best — amazing customer service where they are always on the customer’s side. Customer feedback is encouraged, and if the points are valid, action is taken.

Instead of a regular customer service centre, EcoWorld has set up a boutique cafe in Eco Sky, for the convenience of their customers. Free coffee and exclusive-to-EcoWorld carrot cake is served to every walk-in customer, encouraging buyers with feedback to approach them directly.

For a limited time period, EcoWorld will be carrying out a GuruDeals project with PropertyGuru where buyers can purchase a unit at Eco Sky with 7% discount and have the option to choose from 4 interior design packages each worth RM20,000 for free. Interested buyers can either choose to purchase a unit with this discount or jump on the Maybank HouzKEY bandwagon, to own a fully-furnished unit from only RM2,600 per month and no downpayment.
